Thanks to all for the great turn-out and discussion at the Nov. 4 meeting. We learned more about King County’s Wrap-Around Program, who it serves and how it works, thanks to guest speakers Melanie Streight (wrap-around coach/program manager), Rebecca Wong (wrap-around facilitator) and Josee Perez (wrap-around parent partner).
They reported there are openings for families right now. If your child age 21 or younger receives services from at least two of these, you qualify for support: special education, mental health, Development Disabilities Administration, substance abuse, juvenile justice or the state’s Children’s Administration (DCFS).
